2. Drag the StatPlus icon to the Applications folder and launch the app.

If you're using Excel for Mac, in the file menu go to Tools Excel Add-ins. In the Add-Ins box, check the Analysis ToolPak check box, and then click OK. If Analysis ToolPak is not listed in the Add-Ins available box, click Browse to locate it.

To create a histogram in Excel 2011 for Mac, you'll need to download a third-party add-in. See: I can't find the Analysis Toolpak in Excel 2011 for Mac for more details. In Excel Online, you can view a histogram (a column chart that shows frequency data), but you can’t create it because it requires the Analysis ToolPak, an Excel add-in that.

3. Select the data source from the Spreadsheet menu.

Download Toolpak Excel, free download toolpak excel software downloads. This tutorial will demonstrate how to install the Data Analysis Toolpak add-in in Excel for both Mac and PC. For PC Users: Click on the File tab on the top left, then select Options. Where it says Manage at the bottom, select Excel Add-ins from the drop-down menu and click Go.

Requirements

StatPlus:mac requires macOS 10.7-11.0. StatPlus:mac (add-in mode) works with Microsoft Excel 2004—2019 (2004, 2008, 2011, 2016, 2019) and Numbers v3 or newer.
